DPM strives to serve aspiring entrepreneurs, ex-prisoners re-entering society, and underprivileged families through applicable skills training which will empower them and enable them to empower others.
Our goals will encompass working with young men and women who have become incarcerated victims and providing preventative measures to decrease or even eliminate recidivism.
Our efforts to provide timely intervention and preventative training may allow the individuals and families we serve to overcome various forms of opposition when transitioning into society as newly productive and successful citizens.
The mission of Divine Prevention Ministries (DPM) is to become a beacon of light to communities in the Detroit Metropolitan area. We bridge the gaps through divine prevention and intervention by providing a myriad of accessible resources and support systems that empower individuals in transition to strive for excellence by experiencing the love of Jesus Christ.
We actively participate in developing solutions that enable our organization to be recognized as a one-stop solution for the individual, the family, and the community. We believe the services provided and the application of faith-based biblical teachings will lead those we serve to the reconciliation of God through the power and truth of Jesus Christ.
DPM operates by biblical principles that support abundant living. Our primary focus of planning and programming the services we provide are from scripture written in Habakkuk 2:2 “…write the vision and make it plain…” Our vision is manifested in various programs that target people from all walks of life.
